ངའི་འགྲུལ་བཞུད་མཐའ་མ།
I didn’t plan a lot my trip. I only book a ticket to go. I didn’t buy a ticket to come back. I didn’t know when I would come back.
ངས་འགྲུལ་བཞུད་ཀྱི་སྐོར་ལ་འཆར་བཞི་ཞེ་དྲགས་བཟོས་མེད། ངས Barcelona ་ནས་བལ་ཡུལ་ལ་སྤ་སེ་གཅིག་བླངས་པ་ཡིན། ལོག་པའི་པ་སེ་བླངས་ཡོད་མ་རེད། ངས་ག་དུས་ལོག་པ་དེ་ཤེས་ཡོད་མ་རེད།
To go to Nepal I needed to apply for a Visa. Applying was easy, I had no problems. I wanted to spend 2 month holidays and then work and live close to a monastery. I like staying close to a monastery because I am allowed to learn Buddhism and Tibetan while I make new monk friends.
བལ་ཡུལ་འགྲོ་དུས་ངས་ཆོག་མཆན་ཞུ་དགོས་བྱུང། ཆོག་མཆན་ཞུ་པ་ལས་སླ་པོ་བྱུང་སོང། རྙོག་དྲ་མ་བྱུང་། ངས་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་ཙམ་རིང་གི་གུང་སེང་བཏང་འདོད་བྱུང། དེ་ནས་ལས་ཀ་བྱེད་གིན་བྱེད་གིན་དགོན་པ་ལ་བསྡད་འདོད་བྱུང་། ང་དགོན་པའི་འཁྲིས་ལ་བསྡད་ཡག་ལ་དགའ་པོ་ཡོད། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན་གྲྭ་བ་གྲོགས་པོ་གསར་པ་བཟོ་གིན་བཟོ་གིན་ནང་ཆོས་དང་བོད་སྐད་སྦྱོང་ཆོག་གི་རེད།
I spent some days in Kathmandu. I searched bookshops. Some of the books you cannot buy because they are very old. Those books you can only read. I like calligraphy books yet I don’t get time to practice.

I really like this book because it is written in Nepali, English and Tibetan.

Then I bought an airplane ticket to Solukhumbu. The airplane looked dangerous. From Kathmandu’s streets you cannot see the mountains because you are below the dirty cloud. But when I flought above I could see them. That made me so happy.
དེ་ནས་ Solukhumbu ་ལ་གནམ་གྲུ་སྤ་སེ་གཅིག་བཏང་པ་ཡིན། གནམ་གྲུ་ཉེན་ཁ་ཚ་པོ་འདྲ་པོ་མཐོང་སོང། Kathmandu གི་ལམ་ཀ་ནས་གངས་རི་མཐོ་པོ་མཐོང་ཐུབ་ཀྱོ་མ་རེད། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན་ཁྱེད་རང་སྤྲིན་པ་བཙོག་པའི་འོག་ལ་ཡོད་རེད། ཡིན་ནའི་ང་སྒང་ལ་འཕུར་ན་རི་དེ་ཚོ་མཐོང་ཐུབ་བྱུང་། ད་དཔེ་སྐྱིད་པོ་ཆོར་བྱུང་།
I hiked to Khunde. Khude is high in the mountain. 4000 meters high (elevation). There I lived for 2 weeks with a Sherpa family. They are potato farmers. They are kind-hearted. They, all the time, wanted me to be happy. With them we hung prayer flags in the mountain.

I wanted to hike with a guide monk, so I waited while I was searching. I finally found one. His name is Pasang and with him we visited many monasteries and hiked to Everest base camp and three very high mountain passes. He didn’t know how to speak English, but he could show the way very well.
When arriving at the pass we would pray for the health of those who hike in Tibetan. I had never been so high. Some people can’t hike so high, they become sick.

I also spent some day and nights at his guesthouse with his family. I wanted to meet them all. In their house my bed was in the praying room because many guests needed the rooms. I wanted to have interesting dreams, but I was not able to. I showed Tibetan films to the Sherpa children. They hadn’t seen them before. So they were very happy to see them.

After two weeks the potato farmers wanted me to bring potatoes to their son in Kathmandu. So I carried the potatoes by airplane to the son’s house. While walking to his house, many people asked me “what are you doing?“. They were confused. I was confused too.
བདུན་ཕྲག་གཉིས་རྗེས་མར་ཞོག་ཁོག་ཞིང་པ་དེ་ཚོ་ཁོང་ཚོའི་བུ་ལ་ཞོག་ཁོག་ཀི་ལོ་བཅུ་གཅིག་སྤྲད་འདོད་བྱུང་སོང་། བྱས་ཙང་ངས་ཞོག་ཁོག་ནམ་གྲུ་ནས་བུའི་ནང་ལ་འཁྱེར་པ་ཡིན། ང་དང་ཞོག་ཁོག་སྒོམ་པ་རྒྱག་ཡིན་རྒྱག་ཡིན་མི་གཞན་དག་མང་པོ་ང་ལ་དྲི་བ་བཏང་སོང། ག་རེ་བྱེད་གི་ཡོད། ག་རེད་བྱེད་གི་ཡོད། ཁོང་ཚོ་མགོ་འཐོམས་སོང་། ང་ཡང་མགོ་འཐོམས་སོང། མཉམ་དུ་གད་མོ་ཤོར་སོང།
After that I joined a 1-month long Kopan course: “November course”. It’s very popular. I became translator. From English to Spanish. Before that, I never translated before. It’s not easy, because they don’t stop talking.
དེས་ནས་ Kopan ལ་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་རིང་ནང་ཆོས་འཛིན་གྲྭ་གཅིག་ཞུ་གར་ཕྱིན་པ་ཡིན། འཛིན་གྲྭ་འདིའི་མཚན་ལ་སྤྱིན་ཟླ་བཅུ་གཅིག་འཛིན་གྲྭ་(November course) ཟེར་གྱི་རེད། སྐད་གྲགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་རེད། དེའི་སྐད་རྒྱུར་བྱས་སོང་། དབྱིན་སྐད་ནས་སི་པན་སྐད་ལ་རྒྱུར་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན། དེའི་སྔན་མ་རྒྱུར་བྱེད་མྱོང་མེད་ད། ལས་སླ་པོ་མ་བྱུང་། ཁོང་ཚོས་སྐད་ཆ་བཤད་དུས་མཚམས་བཞག་མ་སོང་།
Then I went to Pokhara. I stayed in a monastery for 3 months. The monks wanted to learn Spanish. Despite never teaching languages before, I prepared classes. If a Spanish tourist now visits their monastery, they know how to say few sentences.
དེའི་རྗས་ལ་ Pokhara ལ་ཕྱིན་པ་ཡིན་། དགོན་པའི་མགྲོན་ཁང་ལ་ཟླ་བ་གསུམ་རིང་བསྡད་པ་ཡིན། གྲྭ་པ་ཆུང་ཆུང་དེ་ཚོ་སི་པན་སྐད་སྦྱོང་འདོད་བྱུང་སོང་། ང་སྔོན་མ་སི་པན་སྐད་མ་བསླབས་ན་ཡང་ང་འཛིན་གྲྭ་ཁ་ཤས་གྲ་སྒྲིག་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན། ད་ལྟ་སི་པན་པའི་མི་དགོན་པ་འཛུལ་ན་གྲྭ་པ་ཆུང་ཆུང་དེ་ཚོ་སི་པན་སྐད་ཏོག་ཙམ་རྒྱག་ཤེས་ཀྱི་རེད།
During their holidays, since they didn’t know how to ride a bicycle, I taught them that.
ཁོང་ཚོའི་གུང་སེང་གི་སྐབ་ལ་རྐང་ཁོར་ཞོན་ནས་མ་ཤས་ཡོད་མ་རེད་ཙང་ངས་དེ་བསླབས་པ་ཡིན།
During my stay in Pokhara I lost my job. For the purpose of spending less money, I became an English teacher at Amithaba Monastery in Kathmandu.

I know how to cook Spanish Omelette. They have never tasted it before. So I taught them how to cook. They really enjoyed it. So next time I cooked 9 Spanish omelettes.

Then I went to Iceland to visit my friend, who is a farmer. The farm is next to a black sand beach. I don’t know farm work but they teach me. Now I can guide horses. I can grow potatoes. I can feed cows. I can milk cows. I can drive a tractor.

The sun sets very late in Iceland. Around 11. And the sun rises very early. Around 3am. I need darkness to rest. So I couldn’t rest very well.

And I finally go back to Barcelona. Now I must have a job. Money is important too.
