Dzogchen Terton who founded Larung Gar.
Recognized at the age of 5 as reincarnation of Lerab Lingpa.
He studied Dzogchen at Nubzor Monastery.
His teachings became so popular, that even the 10th Panchen Lama (in 1980) visited him.
In the 90s he visited the 14th Dalai Lama, ignoring China’s reluctance.
He also taught in many monasteries, including the greatest Nyingma institute in Mysore.
He also taught in the West, and he was unhappy about westerners charging for Dharma.
